Elijah House Ministries Australia has approval for accredited certificate courses, which will be provided in conjunction with CALAM Training, a Registered Training Organisation. Recognised prior learning (RPL) will be applicable. Certificate III in Prayer Ministry Certificate III in Prayer Ministry provides specific specialised training in an area of Christian ministry and micro-skills that supplements but does not replace general pastoral ministry and counselling. The aims of the Certificate III course are -To train and assess people in the dynamics of prayer ministry, including understanding of the Elijah House Ministries: - Teachings and how to apply them effectively in order to assist people to find understanding and healing in areas of personal and relationship dysfunction
- Procedures, processes and approaches which provide a safe and caring environment where people can find assistance in understanding and healing
The Certificate III course is intended for -- Those wishing to operate as a prayer minister as part of a church pastoral care team or counselling ministry
- Those wishing to operate as a prayer minister as part of the Elijah House Ministries prayer ministry training courses
- Pastors and ministers wishing to add specialist skills in prayer ministry to their other pastoral and ministry skills and training
- Counsellors who wish to add specialist skills in prayer ministry to their other counselling skills and training
Certificate III Units -- Recognise prayer ministry principles and dynamic
- Apply prayer ministry principles and dynamic
- Identify and understand Elijah House teachings
- Interpret Elijah House teachings
- Identify and understand micro-skills
- Demonstrate micro-skills principles
- Operate referral procedures
- Follow the organisation’s policies, procedures and program
- Communicate appropriately with clients and colleagues
Cost of Certificate IIIThe cost of Certificate III in Prayer Ministry as at 1 January 2009 is $1,350, which includes Levels A, B, C & D of the Prayer Ministry Training Course, the Prayer Ministry Micro-Skills workshop and assessment. Certificate Iv in Prayer Ministry trainingCertificate IV in Prayer Ministry Training provides specific specialised training of people who will be involved in the training and development of prayer ministers. The aims of the Certificate IV course are -To train those involved in the development of prayer ministers: - T o facilitate the learning of the Prayer Ministry dynamic within ministry groups
- I n the delivery of the Elijah House Ministries teaching material
- In appropriate information and reporting systems such as Elijah House Ministries Australia uses
It also includes the use of good communications processes with participants in courses, peers within an organization and those they are responsible to. The Certificate IV course is intended for -- Pastors and ministers developing prayer ministry teams in their own churches
- Counsellors developing prayer ministry teams in their own counselling ministries
- Elijah House Ministries Volunteers involved in the organisation of prayer ministry training courses
Certificate IV Units - - Follow occupational health and safety procedures

- Maintain an effective work environment
- Facilitate prayer ministry development in a ministry group
- Provide t raining through instruction and demonstration of workplace skills

Cost of Certificate IVThe cost of Certificate IV in Prayer Ministry Training as at 1 January 2009 is $750, which includes workshops that will cover the above units on topics such as understanding your leadership style, and ministry group management, and assessment.
