Certificate III in Prayer Ministry

Elijah House Ministries Australia offers Australia's only government accredited certificate course in prayer ministry, provided in conjunction with CALAM Training, a Registered Training Organisation. Certificate III in Prayer Ministry provides specific specialised training in an area of Christian ministry and micro-skills that supplements but does not replace general pastoral ministry and counselling.

Aims of Certificate III
To train and assess people in the dynamics of prayer ministry, including understanding of the Elijah House Ministries teaching in order to:
- apply them effectively in order to assist people to identify the reasons behind life's difficulties
- help facilitate choices for personal growth and healing based firmly on the wisdom of godly scriptural principles for real and lasting change
- apply procedures, processes and approaches which provide a safe and caring environment to facilitate healing, restoration and freedom from the disabling power of past hurts
Certificate III is for
- People wishing to assist in prayer ministry as part of a church pastoral care team or counselling ministry
- Counsellors who wish to add specialist skills in prayer ministry to their other counselling skills and training
- Pastors and ministers wishing to add specialist skills in prayer ministry to their other pastoral and ministry skills and training
Certificate III Units
- Explain prayer ministry principles and dynamic
- Apply prayer ministry principles and dynamic
- Identify and explain Elijah House teachings
- Interpret Elijah House teachings
- Explain and demonstrate communication micro-skills
- Communicate with people accessing the services of the organisation
- Operate referral procedures
- Follow policies, procedures and programs of the organisation
Cost of Certificate III
The cost of Certificate III in Prayer Ministry as at 1 January 2012 is $1,750, which includes the fees for Levels A, B, C & D of the Prayer Ministry Training Course, the Prayer Ministry Micro-Skills workshop and enrolment, accreditation and assessment fees.
